Maestro Eero Aarnio creates his first piece for VONDOM. Undoubtedly a unique element for its fun and symbolic design, Peacock Collection. As described by its creator, the peacock was part of his childhood, although the origin of the peacocks is very far from Finland. Eero Aarnio used to visit the zoo near his home in Helsinki, located on an island where peacocks roamed freely. The peacocks fascinated him and at the same time they frightened him because when they deployed their immense tail, they became giant birds. These memories have made possible the creation of this new planter with so much symbolism for Eero which naturally calls it "Peacock" (Peacock in English), thus emerging the reunion with this figure of his childhood. VONDOM admires the iconic and timeless creations of Eero Aarnio. For VONDOM, he is a true master of the essence of plastic, with him, we have been able to turn his memory into a unique piece to share and enjoy.
